The work
Four things, done by crews who do only that thing. Most yards use three of them, staged over a season or two.
Design
We measure the lot, read the drainage and draw a scaled plan with a plant list and a staged budget. The drawing is yours either way.
Stone and structure
Patios, seat walls, steps, dry creeks and shade structures. Chopped and sawn limestone, cedar, dry set where it should be liftable.
Planting
Natives and adapted species chosen for the light you actually have, planted in fall or early spring wherever the calendar allows.
Irrigation and lighting
Drip zones tuned to SAWS watering days, low voltage lighting laid out on the plan so the yard works after seven in the evening.
From drawing to dirt
One project at a time per crew, so the foreman who starts your yard is the one who sweeps it at the end.
Walk and measure
Ninety minutes on site. Sun, slope, water, the views you want and the ones you do not.
Plan and price
A scaled drawing, a plant list and a build price broken into stages you can take in order.
Build
Our own crews, one project at a time, same foreman from the first cut to the last sweep.
First year
Two check visits, irrigation retuned by season, and anything we planted that fails gets replaced.
